GENERAL QUESTIONS
IS IT LEGAL TO BLEACH TEETH ON PEOPLE, IF YOU ARE NOT A DENTIST?
Yes, it is completely legal and no special permits are required. Teeth whitening is considered a cosmetic procedure - not a medical procedure. This means that you do not need to have any special medical expertise or title to be able to perform these treatments. However, dentists may use stronger agents and also agents with abrasives. When working with something that affects people's appearance to the highest degree, as teeth whitening does, it is still reasonable that the person performing the treatment knows what they are doing. Our training gives you solid knowledge about teeth whitening. You will be able to carry out these treatments professionally, safely and with good results.

WHAT IS THE DENTIST ASSOCIATION'S OPINION ON THIS?
Members of the Dental Association, i.e. dentists also want to make money from this business. Officially, the Dental Association does not give special advice to the public regarding teeth whitening, but they recommend whitening the teeth of their own members, i.e. at dentists. Often, however, dentists only offer a home whitening solution with a high dental strength. It is also common for the dental hygienist at the reception to perform a thorough cleaning with airflow or ultrasound and these are said to give whiter teeth. These treatments are very effective at cleaning the teeth and work very well, but they are not whitening in any way. It is also relatively rare to be able to do whitening with immediate results at a dentist. So our methods differ slightly. The Dental Association has the right to exercise its power only over its own members, i.e. dentists and dental hygienists. For example, they may not make inspection visits to anyone other than their own members. The association may also not decide on reprimands at beauty salons or influence the beauty salons' operations in any way other than statements and through lobbying. So the Dental Association does not cooperate with us or with other players in the market. However, salons that work with Keep Smiling do everything according to the "Dental Association's book". For example, we recommend our customers to do a complete dental examination before whitening and to fix anything that can negatively affect the teeth or the result. Our education also provides more in-depth knowledge and prerequisites than many other educations in the industry. Our training provides a solid knowledge of all types of teeth whitening and after a thorough training with us, you fully master your own type of teeth whitening and can minimize the possible harmful effects of the whitening.
HOW QUICKLY CAN I EARN BACK MY INVESTMENT?
The time it takes to earn back the money you invest is almost impossible to predict. It depends entirely on the number of whitening clients you will have. However, we can calculate how many bleachings you have to do before the investment is back home. Today, teeth whitening usually costs between SEK 900 and 2,500 including VAT. Your training with equipment and 15 pcs. bleachers cost SEK 22,500 including VAT. Calculated on this basis, you need to do 9 bleachings if you charge SEK 2,500 per bleaching or 24 bleachings if you charge SEK 900 per bleaching. In the first example, you then have 6 bleaches left (without purchase costs) and in the second example, you have to buy 9 pcs. extra fades to be able to achieve the goal. The bottom line is that it is possible to earn a return on the investment very quickly, regardless of pricing.
HOW DOES THE DIGITAL MARKETING KIT HELP ME IN MY BUSINESS?
Our fantastic, if we do say so ourselves, marketing kit includes, among other things, a "ready to print" brochure that you only need to plant your own logo and contact details on before you either print it at a printer or print it yourself with a laser printer. It also contains tens of ready-made templates for your marketing in social media, especially Instagram. Here, too, your logo and link to your website are the only things missing. The kit also has ready-made press releases that you can send to your local media when you have opened up your business, partly to inform the public about the availability of teeth whitening in your area and partly to inform the press, who might come and do a report at your place. All of this is included in both training options with us and is free to use without any restrictions as long as the marketing is about teeth whitening or aftercare with Keep Smiling products. As far as we know, we are the only provider that offers this to its customers, and also completely free of charge.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TRAINING
MAY I PAY IN PART?
Yes, you can pay in installments for the training with equipment in installments with Klarna. If you have a Klarna account, you can set up an installment plan there. This option is not among the standard choices, you must contact us if you want to post the payment this way. If you do not have an account with Klarna, you can apply for one on the Klarna website. MUST THE COURSE FEE BE COMPLETELY PAID BEFORE ENTERING THE TRAINING?
Yes, the entire education must be paid for or approved or set up for partial payment before the course starts.
WHEN CAN I BOOK THE TRAINING DAY?
When your payment of the balance is ready or arranged for partial payment, we send the order to the factory. Your lamp is sent directly to you from the factory. The products are shipped from our warehouse. Delivery time for the lamp is 2-3 weeks; and for the other products 1-2 weeks. You can actually book the course date at any time, but to be sure that you have the equipment at home, we recommend that you book this opportunity when you have received everything home.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
What is included in both options is the course material (e.g. the compendium), 15 pcs. All-in-a-bag bleaching kit and our well-functioning digital marketing kit. The equipment option also includes the plasma laser lamp, dental chart with removable teeth and a pair of safety glasses.
DO I HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES WHAT I GET FROM YOU?
No, nothing more is a must. But we recommend that you have a shade chart, preferably with removable teeth and safety glasses for the customer, but also for yourself to protect your own eyes from the rays of the plasma light, which your eyes are exposed to much more than the customer's. In addition to that, we strongly recommend that you have so-called "dentist rolls" made of cotton. These are an indispensable aid when you need to protect the customer's mucous membranes so that they do not come into contact with the bleach. Then it can be good to have disposable toothbrushes and white toothpaste for customers who forgot or were unable to brush their teeth before the treatment. Of course, you must have a treatment bench or chair, towels and access to water, etc.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LASER
DO I REALLY NEED A LAMP FOR THE BLEACHING TO WORK?
Some fades work without any light source. They are most often used with dental braces. The treatment may take a few weeks. Some other fades are activated by a special light and when activated are extremely effective. Keep Smiling is just such a whitening. It is impossible without the light to achieve noticeable and permanent whitening in just one hour.
WHY WOULD YOUR LAMP BE ANY BETTER THAN OTHERS?
We are very proud of our world-class plasma laser lamp. It has a very strong, but cool light of a whopping 60W, which can be compared to the industry standard of 32W. Our lamp has a nanoparticle catalyst baked into the light for reduced hydrogen peroxide concentration with higher efficiency. AND IF WE NEED SERVICE OR SPARE PARTS?
The lamp comes with a one-year warranty. During this time, it costs you nothing if something breaks. After the warranty period, you have access to free advice and guidance from us. We make sure you get the right spare parts if needed. However, this is not often the case as our lamp is "diamond standard" in terms of quality.

IS YOUR PRODUCT TESTED ON ANIMALS?
Absolutely not. Keep Smiling clinic whitening is a 100% vegan product, which also means that it is not tested on animals at any stage of the production chain. Cruelty Free, Vegan and Medical Grade are our three watchwords.
IS THE BLEACHING SAFE TO USE ON ANYBODY?
If you are not hypersensitive to any of the ingredients and do not have a dental condition, the whitening is completely safe to use. However, the following should refrain from whitening their teeth in general: - Persons under 18 years of age - People with dental conditions such as caries, exposed tooth necks, yellow roots or exposed roots - People who have bleached their teeth in the last three months - Pregnant and lactating women - People with photosensitive medication - People receiving treatment with antibiotics - People with any oral disease If in doubt, it is always better to ask the person to consult a dentist.
DOES THE BLEACHING WORK WITH ANY PLASMALASER LAMP?
It does. However, it does not work without a lamp. But all light sources approved for the purpose with blue UV plasma light can activate the bleaching's photoactive substances and make the bleaching potent. We recommend a minimum light power of 32W, preferably up to 60W.
WHAT DOES THE JOB - THE BLEACHING OR THE LAMP?
Keep Smiling has several active substances that work together to make the results amazing. The most important substance is (as with all bleaching) hydrogen peroxide, which together with, for example, carbomer does the bleaching job itself. But the bleaching without the light is ineffective. UV plasma light is needed to activate the bleaching. The brighter the light, the more effective the bleaching. You can make a comparison with cars. Gasoline must be in the tank for the car to be driven, but without a car, the gas is pretty useless. In other words: Both are needed equally to achieve great results.
MAY I BLEACH TEETH ON PEOPLE UNDER 18 IF THEY HAVE A CONSENT FROM THEIR LEGAL GUARDIAN?
The law says nothing about this, but we know that a person's teeth are not fully developed before one has passed the 18-year mark - and this applies regardless of whether one would otherwise be fully developed. Until then, some nerves are also enlarged. This can cause the whitening to be painful and can cause permanent irritation to the teeth. Permanent pigment damage is also not uncommon on undeveloped teeth that are bleached. Therefore, it is not permitted to whiten the teeth of minors, regardless of the guardian's permission or not. Explain the situation to the customer and ask him to wait until he turns 18.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE AFTER CARE
WHAT GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS THERE IS TO FOLLOW AFTER A TREATMENT?
After whitening with Keep Smiling, you should not put anything in your mouth during the first two hours. Afterwards, it is possible to drink and eat with certain restrictions (see below). The first 72 hours, i.e. the first three days are decisive for the results of teeth whitening regardless of the brand. During this time, the teeth restore their mineral and moisture balance and are extra susceptible to dirt and organic deposits. Therefore, we recommend avoiding the following during these hours: - All tobacco products including cigarettes, black and white snus, vape and other nicotine products taken by mouth. Note that white snus is not better in this context because it is the nicotine that causes most of the discoloration. - Coffee and tea of ​​all kinds. - Carbonated drinks in general. - Foods with strong colors, including but not limited to: soy, dark sauces and dressings, tomato, spinach, berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries etc), sweets - especially sour and salty sweets including licorice and salmiak. - Alcoholic drinks, especially red wine and dark spirits. On the third day after bleaching, we recommend using Keep Smiling Post-treatment Color Corrector at least once a day. Continue using the product for 2-3 weeks. After that, you can use it as needed. Follow the instructions carefully. Note that Color Corrector should not replace brushing with fluoride toothpaste. To avoid unwanted side effects such as itching in the teeth, we recommend using products with a high fluoride content, for example Duraphat toothpaste or/and fluoride rinse. Start with extra fluoride already a few days before the bleaching and continue until you feel completely symptom-free from itching, but no earlier than a week after the bleaching. The treating clinic can answer further questions. Their staff is trained in teeth whitening.
HOW DOES THE POST TREATMENT WORK?
Teeth whitening and post-treatment use completely different technologies. While teeth whitening actually whitens, the after treatment uses color correcting technology called v34. It eliminates yellow tones and makes the existing color of the teeth clearer and brighter. In practical terms, you use it as a toothpaste with 2-3 pumps of agent on the tad brush and brush for two minutes. Afterwards, rinse the mouth abundantly with cold water.
WHEN SHOULD I START USING THE AFTER CARE PRODUCT AND HOW?
On the third day after bleaching, it is time to start using the finishing treatment. You brush your teeth an extra time with the product every day for 2-3 weeks. After that, you can use the product if necessary. It is not harmful to use it longer, often or even daily even further. Note and inform the customer that the product should not replace brushing with fluoride toothpaste twice a day. It is a supplement to the daily dental care routine.
IS THE AFTER CARE PRODUCT REQUIRED TO GET GREAT RESULTS?
No, but it is a kind of guarantee for that. If you have invested 1-2 thousand Swedish kroner in whitening your teeth, you probably want to ensure that the end result is as good as possible. Therefore, this product is incredibly easy to sell to anyone doing teeth whitening.
